Bedbug bites and how to notice them

Introduction

Bedbugs are insects that are known for their biting and sucking blood. They normally suck blood from human beings and they can stay for over three months without feeding. This makes them survive for long even without feeding. Bedbugs are always active at night and they bite areas that are exposed. They can bite the neck, face, arms, and even hands. If you do not check, you will never notice that you have been bitten by a bedbug as the biting is always painless.

What are the signs

Because noticing the bites from bedbugs is not easy, you should be checking your skin for flat, raised, or small bumps. If you notice that your skin is red, itching and swelling, that may be a sign that you have been bitten by bedbugs. The signs of bedbug bites may become evident after 14 days of the bites.
